Because this is a minimalistic product, it comes in a small box.
This is what a 3 pack looks like and it comes with all the hardware included.

Here’s what the wall anchors look like once I tookt them out of the box.
I like the shiny powder coat and how simplistic it is.
It comes with 6 bolts, 6 washers, and a rubber cap for each one.
Specs

- Material: Stainless steel
- Dimensions: 4″ L x 1.5″ W x 2.25″ D
- Max weight capacity: 300 lbs per wall anchor
- Hardware: 2.5″ bolts and washers included
What Is The Anchor Gym Mini?

The Anchor Gym Mini is a set of resistance band wall anchors that takes up very little space.
The wall hooks can be mounted to wall studs and concrete (hardware included) at different heights to target muscle groups from many angles.
Each Anchor Gym Mini hook is made of steel and powder coated for durability.

I can use the hooks for resistance bands of all kinds and also with suspension trainers.
The Anchor Minis have a weight capacity of 300 lbs each but other versions go up to 800 lbs per hook.
For what I do, the 300 lbs weight capacity is enough.

Installation

To make sure the Anchor Gym is sturdy enough to sustain pulling forces, it is meant to be installed permanently on wood studs or concrete walls.
First I picked 3 spots on a wall stud to one side of my weight rack (one high, one in the middle, and one low).
Then I did the same on the opposite side of my rack.

This gives me multiple angles to work with and I can even do bilateral arm exercises like cable crossovers.
I used a 1/4″ diameter drill bit and drilled a pair of pilot holes 2.5″ deep.

After that, I used a ratcheting socket wrench to tighten bolts down so these hooks aren’t going anywhere.
Overall installation is easy if you know how to find wall studs.
Top Benefits Of The Anchor Gym Mini
Minimalistic

In my garage gym, all I need is one wall stud to install 3 Anchor Gym Minis at 3 heights.
This gives me the ability to anchor resistance bands from different angles.
And the wall anchors are so small that they don’t take up a lot of space so they’ll work for even the smallest gym set ups.

Here’s a close so you can see how little space the hooks take up.
I set them in the same wall stud where I hang my bumper plates.

By mounting two sets of 3 Anchor Gym Minis in separate wall studs, I can recreate a functional trainer for resistance bands without taking up floor space.
So the amount of exercises I can do with 3 pairs of wall hooks is endless.

Secure

Since each Anchor Gym wall anchor uses two 2.5″ bolts to go on the wall, they’re not gonna come off the wall.
Of course, you want to make sure the bolts are going into the wall studs not just dry wall.
With up to 300 lbs of max resistance per hook, these are very secure.
Best Features Of The Anchor Gym Mini
Build

I like that the Anchor Gym Mini is simple but strong.
It’s made out of powder coated stainless steel and can support of to 300 lbs of resistance.
And each bolt comes with a plastic cap to protect my resistance bands from tearing.
Each hook comes with a lifetime warranty.
Open Ended T-Hooks

The open ended T-hook has a 3/4″ opening so I can fit any resistance band or suspension straps regardless of thickness.
This opening makes it easy to add and remove bands so transitioning from one exercise to another takes no time.
And the T-hook design keeps the bands from coming off the hook accidentally.
Who Is The Anchor Gym Mini For?

The Anchor Gym Mini is good for people who don’t have a lot of space and like to workout with resistance bands.
All you need is a single wall stud for the basic set (3 wall anchors).
And if you want more versatility, the Anchor Mini Pro brings 6 wall anchors that can be mounted on multiple wall studs.
From this setup, there’s a bunch of exercises that can be done for both the upper and lower body.

Anchor Gym Mini Price

The Anchor Gym Mini set of 3 is currently priced at $46.95 which I feel is a fair.
If you choose to go with the set of 6 then the price doubles to just under $100.
I haven’t been able to find a discount code but again, it’s a fair price for the amount of resistance band and suspension trainer exercises I can do.

Anchor Gym Mini Alternatives
Single Anchor Gym

The single Anchor Gym is bigger than the Anchor Mini but has the same function.
Their biggest difference is that the single Anchor Gym can take on more weight.
Weight capacity is 800 lbs per hook and they start at $34.95.
Double Anchor Gym

The Double Anchor Gym is a double hook variation of the Single Anchor Gym.
It’s longer so it uses 3 bolts and requires more wall space.
It also supports up to 800 lbs and starts at $49.95.
StackTrax Fitness

The StackTrax Fitness system is a modular wall mounted system that works for resistance bands and multiple attachments.
StackTrax works with resistance bands, pull up bars, endless ropes, landmine attachments, and even the Ancore Trainer.
Just like the Anchor Gym, this takes up one wall stud but it starts at $235 so it is more expensive.
My Experience Using The Anchor Gym Mini

If all I had was a set of resistance bands and suspension straps, the Anchor Gym Mini is all I’d need.
It’s sturdy and gives me secure anchor points for resistance band exercises so I can hit muscle groups from multiple angles.
And when I want to use my suspension trainer, I hang it from the top hook and use my bodyweight for push ups, rows, pistol squats, and more.

Above I’m showing you different ways to use resistance bands with the wall hooks.
First pic I showed you rows with a suspension trainer…
And the second pic I’m doing bicep curls with a resistance band bar and the bottom wall anchor.
The exercises I can do with this simple set up are only limited by my imagination so as far as versatility goes, this offers a lot of value.
Final Verdict Of My Anchor Gym Mini Review

If you’re short on space and love resistance bands, the Anchor Gym Mini gives you multiple wall anchors for resistance bands.
They’re well built, use a double bolt to stay on walls securely, and can take up to 300 lbs of resistance.
These wall anchors are simple, minimalistic, and safe for home gyms, rehab, and stretching.
