The Bullet Pulley Pro is an upgrade to the original Bullet Pulley.
This new version comes with aluminum pulleys, giving the cables a super buttery smooth feel.
It’s also a complete kit that includes upper and lower pulleys, cables, and a leg roller, aimed to replace 10 separate cable machines in a space saving design.

Everything came in one big box.
When I opened it, there were 3 boxes inside and a pair of handles.
Here’s everything that comes with the Bullet Pulley Pro system…
Loading pin, 2 high pulleys, 2 Bullet Pulleys, 2 weight straps, 2 high pulley straps, 4 cables, 2 handles, 6 carabiners, and…
Now they’ve added a single leg roller which they call the Anchor Pad.
This adds more versatility to the pulley system without taking up any additional floor space.
And just like the Bullet Pulley, it’s universal so it’ll work on any weight rack.
Specs
- Pulleys: 4 aluminum pulleys (2 bullet pulleys, 2 high pulleys)
- Loading pin: ” long, compatible with Olympic sized weight plates
- Cables: (2) 140″ cables, (2) 73″ cables
- Handles: 2 hard plastic handles
- Leg roller (anchor pad): Single leg roller adds more versatility to the entire setup
- Straps: (2) weight straps and (2) high pulley straps
What Is The Bullet Pulley Pro?
The Bullet Pulley Pro is a 10-in-1, double high and low pulley system for home gyms.
It can be installed on any size rack and it’s adjustable to any height without the need for tools.
This gives me tons of versatility to recreate multiple cable machines with one space saving solution.
I can do cable crossovers like with a functional trainer, lat pulldowns, seated cable rows, tricep pushdowns, bicep curls, and more…
Top Benefits Of The Bullet Pulley Pro
Universal
The Bullet Pulley cable system works on any rack.
So whether you have a 2×2, 2×3, or 3×3 rack, it’ll work.
This is possible because of the design on the Bullet Pulley’s base.
If you look at the picture above, the base (red part) is V-shaped which makes it compatible with any size upright and gives it stability so it’s not moving around.
And you might be asking yourself, “What about hole size”?
It works with any size hole because of the cone shaped nut.
This is the first time I’ve used a cone shaped nut and it makes complete sense.
With 1″ holes, most of the cone goes into the hole.
And with 5/8″ holes, more of the tip goes in making it easy to work with different upright and hole sizes.
Space Saving
Because the Bullet Pulley is rack mounted, I don’t need to make room for another machine.
This gives me the ability to do the same cable exercises like with a functional trainer and other machines without the clutter.
All it takes is a little bit of creativity and I can replace a bunch of machines.
Look at the example above where I recreated a seated cable row machine using a high and low pulley.
With the low pulley being detachable, I can even do this on a bench if I wanted to get off the floor.

Buttery Smooth
One thing the Bullet Pulley Pro comes with, is aluminum pulleys.
This is an improvement from the original version pulleys which were plastic.
And this makes a huge difference because the cables glide smoothly on every exercise I’ve tried.
Best Features Of The Bullet Pulley Pro
Aluminum Pulleys
Both high pulleys and Bullet Pulleys (low pulleys) are now aluminum.
This is the bread and butter of any home gym cable pulley system because if the cables aren’t moving smoothly, the whole system sucks.
Multiple Cables
The Bullet Pulley Pro kit comes with 4 cables.
Two of them are 73″ long and the other two are 140″ long.
Depending on your rack height and exercises you do, you’ll have to play around with what cable lengths work for your setups.
But once you get used to it, it’s easy to transition from one exercise to the next.
Weight Strap
I like that Bullet Pulley added a weight strap in addition to the loading pin.
This is similar to the concept behind the UClips, where I can attach any type of resistance to my home gym cable set up.
In this example, I attached my adjustable kettlebell to the cable system.
I just toss the strap under the handle and clip it to the carabiner on top.
Here’s what that looks like when I’m exercising.
I can do the same with a double cable setup and my adjustable dumbbells to recreated a functional trainer.
I’ve also done this just using a loading pin and connecting both cables to it but I wanted to show you different options.
Here I’m doing a cable chest flys with a double pulley setup and the weight straps picking up my dumbbells.
The beauty about the Bullet Pulley weight straps is that I can attach them to anything with a handle.
Single Leg Roller (Anchor Pad)
The anchor pad that comes with the pro kit adds more functionality to the cable pulley setup.
I can also do exercises that don’t require the pulleys so it’s a good compliment to an already versatile system.
Here I’m using the anchor pad to hold me down while doing lat pulldowns.
So if I want to go real heavy, the weight won’t be pulling me up.
Here I anchored the pads low to recreate a Nordic curl bench.
As simple as this leg roller is, it adds a ton of value to the whole pro kit.
Here I set it up to recreate a decline sit up bench.
I pulled up my adjustable bench next to the rack, set it to incline, then got my feet under the roller to keep me from sliding down.
I can do Bulgarian split squats without needing a split squat stand that would only work for that single exercise.
And I can use the roller to support my arm when doing preacher curls.
Easy setups that save me space and money by getting creative and repurposing.
Is The Bullet Pulley Pro Worth It?
When you look at all the machines I can recreate with the Bullet Pulley Pro, this all-in-one kit it is well worth it.
I don’t have enough space for all the machines it replaces and I definitely don’t want to spend all that money buying each machine individually.
Here’s a table I created to compare just a few standalone machines I can replace with the Bullet Pulley Pro.
And just to be on the conservative side, I went with cheaper machines.
Machines | Price | Exercises |
Rep Lat Tower | $470 | Lat pulldowns, seated rows, tricep pushdowns |
Bells of Steel Functional Trainer | $1000 | Cable flys, chest press, bicep curls, etc. |
Freak Athlete Nordic Mini | $250 | Nordic curls |
AbMat Preacher Pad | $95 | Bicep curls |
GMWD Split Squat Stand | $60 | Bulgarian split squats |
Amazon Decline Sit Up Bench | $100 | Sit ups |
I compiled this data to give you a better idea of the value this product brings to any home gym.
These are just a few examples, there’s many more machines and exercises I can come up with but kept it simple enough to make you see the point.
Assuming I have the space for these machines, I’d be paying $1975.
Compared to the $399 I pay with the Bullet Pulley Pro kit and the space I save, you can see why this is well worth it.
Bullet Pulley Pro Pros & Cons
Pros
- All-in-one: I can do a TON of exercises for both upper and lower body
- Universal: Fits any rack regardless of upright and hole size
- Aluminum pulleys: Give it a cable machine feel so exercises flow smoothly
- Weight strap: Allows me to attach weight I already have (dumbbells, kettlebells, sandbags) to the cable system
- Leg roller: Adds more functionality to the entire set up
- Cables: Two sets of different length cable makes it easy to transition from one exercise to the other
Cons
- Handles: I’d like to see an improvement in the quality of the handles. They get the job done but a knurled or rubberized grip option would be nice.

Pro 10-in-1 Kit
There are several Bullet Pulley kits but the one that gives you the most bang for your buck is the 10-in-1 Pro kit.
This one is priced at $399 which is is a good price for the amount of exercises I can recreate and machines I can replace.
Keep reading to learn how to get a discount on the 10-in-1 Pro kit.
3-in-1 Kit
The 3-in-1 cable system kit is a couple steps down from the Pro kit.
This one still provides a lot of versatility but doesn’t include the single roller and handles.
For $100 more, I think upgrading to the Pro kit is well worth it.
Bullet Pulley
And the most basic option is for 2 bullet pulleys.
If you already have 2 high pulleys and cables, this may be a good option to add more versatility to your home gym cable system.
Bullet Pulley Pro Discount Code
I have a discount code that only works with the 10-in-1 kit.

Bullet Pulley Pro Alternatives
Beyond Power Voltra
The Beyond Power Voltra is a rack mounted digital cable machine with a weight capacity of 200 lbs and variable resistance modes.
I’d say this is currently at the top of the food chain when it comes to rack mounted cable systems.
But it does come at a steep price of $2099 per unit.
So if you were to buy a unit for each upright, you’d be looking at an investment right under $5000.
Ancore Trainer
The Ancore Pro Trainer is a rack mounted cable system with a max resistance capacity of 65 lbs per unit.
It uses its own resistance plates in 5 and 10 lbs increments.
This one is not electric so it can be used at any time and can be anchored to any solid post.
Each unit sells for $798 so for a dual unit you’re looking at at least $1500.
Shogun Flex
The Shogun Flex is a rack mounted digital cable machine with a max resistance capacity of 44 lbs per unit and has variable resistance modes.
Out of all these cable systems, this one is the lightest one.
Each unit sells for $297 so for a dual setup you’re looking at just shy of $600.
My Experience Using The Bullet Pulley Pro
I’ve tested many cable systems, everything from DIY’s to the most advanced digital machines, and the Bullet Pulley Pro is a winner for home gyms.
Quality wise, they’ve made improvements to the pulleys and cables so all the movements feel smooth.
In my original Bullet Pulley review, I showed a bunch of exercises that can be done with a high and low pulley system, and with the new addition of the anchor pad to the Bullet Pulley Pro Kit, I can do even more.
So as far as versatility goes, there’s no shortage of exercises this set up can’t do.
The best part about it all, is that the kit doesn’t take up any additional space so I keep more of my garage.
If you’re in need of a home gym cable machine but don’t have a lot of space and don’t want to spend a ton of money, this one is a good one to check out.

Thanks for the review! I ordered one of these.
Any plans on reviewing the Profile Halo Jammer arms from PrX?
I’ll look into them. I’ll have to figure out whether they’re something I can keep on the rack or have to take off.
Did you see the PRx Dialed Motion collaboration to create a functional trainer?
I did…but the price tag is a bit much – especially when the bullet pulleys are out there.
