The Double Circle gymnastic rings and straps system is one I wish I would’ve known about years ago.
Double Circle made a few, simple changes to the traditional cam buckle straps, and it makes a world of difference.
I’ll be showing you what I mean in this post.

The Double Circle rings and straps system comes in a small cardboard box.
After ordering it through Amazon, it got to me in about 2 or 3 days.
Shipping didn’t take very long at all.
Once you open the box, you’ll see a travel bag with the company’s branding.
There’s also an insert that tells you how to register the product for a 3 year warranty and to download an exercise guide.
Inside the carrying bag, you have a pair of wooden gymnastic rings and a pair of ring straps.
The ring straps are 15 feet long, numbered, and instead of a cam buckle, they have a pair of metal carabiners at each end.
Much different than the regular ring straps I’ve used in the past.
Double Circle Gymnastic Rings
The gymnastic rings are made of quality wood.
They’re 1.25″ in thickness and are more secure to grip than plastic rings.
Double Circle Rings Straps
The Double Circle ring straps are double stitched, 1.5″ wide, numbered with reinforced anchor slots, and have high quality metallic carabiners at each end.
This strap design makes it MUCH MORE user friendly than regular cam buckle straps.
It’s as simple as hooking a carabiner into a numbered slot and repeating it on the other strap.
You might be thinking…that’s it?
Yes, that simple design change makes a HUGE difference.
Gymnastic Rings Straps In Action
In the review video above you’ll see the Double Circle gymnastic rings and straps in action.
You’ll get a closer look at how the carabiner and anchor slot system makes setting the rings up a breeze.
And not just the set up, moving from one exercise to the next takes seconds.
Best of all, both sides will always be even without any excess straps getting in your way.
Double Circle vs Cam Buckle Straps
Cam Buckle Ring Straps
If you’ve ever worked out with rings, you know how much of a pain in the ass cam buckles can be.
First, you have to get the first strap through the cam buckle, then repeat with the other one.
Then you have to make sure both sides are even.
It may take a few adjustments before you can get started.
And whatever excess strap you have left, just hangs in the way.
The Double Circle ring straps are different.
Double Circle Ring Straps
The major difference in the Double Circle straps is the dual carabiner and numbered slots it uses.
This lets you move from exercise to exercise with ease and ensures that both rings are ALWAYS even.
One end of the strap goes around the anchor point and you hook the carabiner to a numbered slot.
Then other end goes through the ring and hooks up to another numbered slot.
Then you repeat on the other side.
No guessing, no hanging excess straps, both sides of your body are worked equally, and less chances of injuries.
Rings vs Pull Up Bars
When it comes to calisthenics, gymnastic rings are very challenging…
But how do they compare to hanging pull up bars like the Rogue Individual Pull Up System?
Because rings force each arm to work individually, I feel rings are harder to workout with and have more versatility than a hanging pull up bar.
Conclusion
The Double Circle gymnastic rings and straps system is a winner.
The innovative strap design makes easy to transition from one exercise to the next.
You don’t have any excess straps hitting you in the face or getting in the way.
And with quality materials and a high weight capacity, it’s a piece of equipment that you can use for years.
Have you tried a dual carabiner and slot system like this one?

The rings itself seems thicker than the standard rings. Is it harder to work with?
The rings are 1.25″ thick. I don’t have any issues with them but Double Circle does have smaller 1.1″ diameter rings if that’s a better option for you. Check them out here
Hi, thanks for the review!
Looks like the carabiner of the double circle gymnastic rings won’t go through the titan ring hanger itself.
I see you installed the double circle gymnastic rings through to the hanger via another piece of fabric linking both.
Can you please describe what you did to make this work? Where did you find this loop of fabric / how you attached it to the hanger so that you can loop the rings inside it?
Thanks!
Yeah I had to modify it a little bit with a heavy duty strap (3600 lbs weight capacity).
You can find it here. They’re less than $10 for an 8 pack.
I just inserted one end of the strap through one rung on the ring hanger then clipped the carabiner to both ends of the loop.
Simple solution that I’ve never had any issues with.
