The IFAST Fitness weight bench is a solid adjustable FID bench with plenty of angles to cover all your workouts.
Built out of 2″ x 3″ commercial grade steel, yet lightweight, it has a 600 lbs weight capacity.
This review will show you everything about this FID bench (flat, incline, decline) so you can see all its features before you decide to buy.
Unboxing
The IFAST fitness weight bench comes in a decent sized box, not huge or small.
The package wasn’t very heavy which always helps those poor UPS delivery guys LOL.
Everything inside comes neatly packaged
The bench and seat padding come in a tight plastic wrap.
Everything else was in loose plastic bags.
After removing the plastic there are not many parts to put together.
I had to attach the top leg, handle, leg support pads, wheels, and the bench pads to the frame.
All the hardware is included and took around 30 minutes to put together.
After it’s all put together, the bench looks solid!
The bench has a triangular structure frame where the bottom leg doesn’t have a wide base.
This is similar to the structure of the PowerBlock Sport bench.
Here’s a look at the underside of the IFAST bench.

Features
The IFAST bench is a fully adjustable FID bench.
You can use it as a flat bench, incline bench, and decline bench.
IFAST Fitness FID Weight Bench
Right below the bench you have a pair of yellow knobs.
You pull out the knobs to unlock the bench and change the angles of the back rest and seat.
Back Rest Adjustments
You can adjust the back rest to 12 different positions by pulling the knob below it.
Pull out the yellow know and move the back rest up or down, then let go of the knob to lock the bench in place.
The angles range from -20 degrees to 90 degrees.
This is the decline bench position which has an angle of -20 degrees.
Then you have your regular flat position.
Here’s what 45 degrees looks like.
And when fully inclined, you have a 90 degree bench.
With 12 different angles, you have more than enough for a big variety of exercises.

Seat Adjustments
The seat has 3 different adjustments.
You have the standard flat position.
And it can be inclined 2 levels up.
This gives you more support so you don’t slide down the bench when doing chest presses.
You can also incline the seat and decline the back rest at the same time to create a decline sit up bench.
Leg Support Pad
At the bottom of the bench you have a set of foam leg pads.
These come in handy when using the IFAST bench in the decline position so your feet are anchored down.
Handle
Right in between the leg support rollers, you have the handle.
It comes with a non-slip rubberized grip.
The handle’s one and only function is just to raise the bench so the wheels touch the floor and you can move it around.
Wheels
The wheels sit at the top of the bench, welded on to the wide foot.
Rubberized Feet
The IFAST adjustable bench has 3 rubberized points of contact with your floor.
The top of the bench has 2 rubberized feet right next to the wheels.
The 3rd point of rubberized contact is at the foot of the bench.
It has an oval rubber foot to prevent you from shifting around while lifting.
Pros
- Fully Adjustable – FID bench with 3 seat angles and 12 back rest angles
- Full Decline – can be turned to a decline sit up bench
- Lightweight – easy to move around and transport with wheels
Cons
Like with any triangular framed bench, the top leg is wide and the bottom leg is narrow.
So you lose a little bit of stability IF you lift real heavy.
Otherwise, once you lie down on the back rest, the weight is distributed to the wide legs and you’re good.
This gives you the freedom to set your feet anywhere you want without a leg getting in your way.
