JaxJox dumbbells are digital adjustable dumbbells that go up to 50 lbs.
The dumbbells replace 8 pairs of dumbbells (16 dumbbells in total) and can be used with the JaxJox app or Interactive Studio.
Dumbbell weight plates and handles are made of metal.
Time to let you in on all the details.
Let’s dig in!
Specs
The JaxJox Dumbbell Connect range from 8 to 50 lbs in 6 lbs increments.
Weight ranges are 8 lbs, 14 lbs, 20 lbs, 26 lbs, 32 lbs, 38 lbs, 44 lbs, and 50 lbs.
The JaxJox dumbbells can have up to 7 weight plates on each side.
Each dumbbell is just shy of 17 inches long.
The bottom of the dumbbells is flat so that they don’t roll around when they’re on the floor.
JaxJox Adjustable Dumbbells
The dumbbells sit on a cradle with slots for each individual weight plate.
Once you get the whole dumbbell off the cradles, you can see all the slots.
Taking a closer look at the cradles you can see 5 small golden spikes that connect to the bottom of the dumbbells.
Those small spikes connect to the sensors on the dumbbells.
This connection lets the system know they are docked and ready to be adjusted.
How Do JaxJox Dumbbells Work?
The dumbbells can be adjusted in two ways.
You can adjust them from the cradle by pressing the ( + ) and ( – ) button.
The maximum weight they go up to is 50 lbs.
You can also adjust them by using the JaxJox Interactive Studio touch screen.
Weight Plates
After you select your weight, you’ll hear a beep that lets you know the dumbbells are ready to be picked up.
Whatever weight you select goes with the handle.
Anything not selected stays on the cradle.
The back of each weight plates has a groove where the plates interlock.
Through the center hole you can also see the metal bar that comes out of the handle.
Dumbbell Handle Knurling
The handle is made of metal.
Only portion not knurled is the outermost part of the handle.
The knurling on the handle is passive.
I would’ve liked it to be a bit more prominent but it’s still safe enough where it doesn’t feel slippery.
Real Time Tracking
JaxJox tracks all your workouts through artificial intelligence.
You can see how you’re performing during an on-demand or live workout.
Real time metrics include reps, weight, sets, time, average power, and total volume.
The numbers can be seen on the JaxJox app or JaxJox Interactive Studio.
JaxJox Interactive Studio
I got my JaxJox dumbbells together with the JaxJox Interactive Studio.
JaxJox Interactive Studio as an all-in-one workout station that includes a 43″ tv screen, adjustable kettlebell, smart foam roller, push up station, and live and on-demand classes.
Where to Buy JaxJox Dumbbells
You can buy JaxJox adjustable dumbbells only through their official website.
I haven’t seen them sold anywhere else.

JaxJox Dumbbells Review
Overall, the JaxJox dumbbells make a great addition to a home gym.
They replace 8 pairs of dumbbells in 6 lbs increments.
If you’re an advanced lifter, the 50 lbs weight capacity may not be enough for you.
For the majority of casual home gym owners, this will work and will not take up a lot of space.
