Kinobody Before and After

In this post I’ll reveal my Kinobody before and after pictures.

I never thought at 40 years of age I would be able to achieve the results I have, since at my age you’re supposed to be over the hill.

While other 40 year olds are falling off into the “dad bod” category, I look better than I did in high school.

Let’s dig a bit deeper in what I was doing before and after Kinobody…

Life Before Kinobody

Nutrition

Growing up I was always learned by reading fitness magazines and by watching and talking to other gym bros.

Everyone talked about eating every 3 hours to maintain a high metabolism so I did.

I did it for many years but it was always time consuming to prep food and have snacks with me.

Back then I had no clue about how the hormone insulin and fat loss are influenced every time you eat.

I had never heard of the two words that made a huge impact on my current lean physique….

I used to work out almost everyday…

When you’re young you have the energy but for all the training I was doing, you would think I would look like a bodybuilder…

But I didn’t.

Looking back, now I see how I was overtraining and not getting enough rest to let my muscles recover and grow.

I thought more was better, but of course, I didn’t know our bodies grew when we’re outside the gym.

Boy was I wrong…

Workouts

I used to spend about one to two hours at the gym, five to six days a week.

Don’t get me wrong, that’s still better than sitting on my ass for hours playing video games.

But back then I had tons of time since I had no kids, no responsibilities, no job.

Now that I’m 40 years old, time is the most important thing I need to have so there’s no way I’d go to the gym 5 times a week, let alone for a couple hours.

We’re all too busy…

But luckily, I stumbled onto Kinobody and everything changed for the better…

Life After Kinobody

Nutrition

Now that I understand how intermittent fasting influences our fat storing hormone (insulin), I see the importance of NOT eating every 3 hours.

I’m basically doing the opposite of what the fitness industry tells you to do.

Nowadays I usually eat 2 big meals and skip breakfast all together.

My breakfast consists of liquids without any added sugar (sugar spikes insulin): water, black coffee, or fasting tea.

Training Frequency

I’m currently weight training three times a week and one day I’ll do some cardio.

This is much easier on my schedule than being at the gym everyday.

It also gives my body plenty of rest to recover for my next workout.

Oddly enough I’ve gotten more muscular and ripped by going to the gym less!

Who wouldn’t want to train less and still get results?!

Workouts

My workouts are now all low volume, high in weight, and I focus on reverse pyramid training.

This is where you train heaviest on your first set and decrease the weight on your subsequent sets.

I’m lifting more in less time and my strength has gone off the roof!

The key has been focusing on key lifts that involve multiple muscle groups so I can lift heavier and stimulate more human growth hormone secretion.

Today I’m a year older than when I started Kinobody and I’m still amazed at the results I’ve gotten.

People on the streets ask me how I do it (especially at the pool).

If they only knew how simple it really is as long as you put in the work and don’t do what the fitness industry tells you to do.
