Kinobody results at 39 years of age:
Weight: 155 lbs
Body fat: 9 percent
I’ve always been one to stay active throughout my life even at 39 years of age (almost 40) but I had been doing the same boring workouts for a while, so I tried CrossFit and although it was challenging, I ended up hurting my shoulders doing Olympic lifts so I stopped it.
Then I ran into Kinobody either on Instagram and YouTube and I kept seeing before and after pictures of Kinobody results which looked incredible so I took a chance and purchased the Warrior Shredding program.
Before diving into the Kinobody programs I never really watched what I ate or tracked calories for two reasons:
- I thought I could out train a bad diet (big mistake especially as you get older)
- I didn’t know how to calculate calories or macronutrients
If there’s anything I could say I learned from Kinobody is that the results come when you know your numbers.
What does that mean? Well, based on your goals you have to eat a certain amount of calories and also keep track of macronutrients.
This is something I hadn’t done all my life. I just loved to workout but I thought to myself “If I’m busting my ass in the gym, why wouldn’t I want to look my best?”.
So that’s when I immersed myself in Kinobody’s videos.
I learned about intermittent fasting, reverse pyramid training, and the importance of not being in the gym everyday.
Those 3 things alone have made a HUGE difference in my workouts, how I feel, and my body composition.

Kinobody Results
I started to see results after following Kinobody at about the 2nd month. I religiously followed the workout plans and stuck to the diet protocols.
I had never tried intermittent fasting before so for me it was something I was not used to.
I started skipping breakfast and felt “strange” for the first two weeks.
I felt jittery, light headed, and cold at times. But I stuck to the plan and after those two weeks, my body started switching energy systems.
Energy systems? What the hell are you talking about?
You see, most people are used to burning sugar (carbs) as fuel but by fasting you switch from being a sugar burner to a fat burner.
I found myself no longer needing breakfast in the morning and didn’t eat my first meal until around 12:30 or 1pm and I felt fine.
As I continued fasting in the mornings, I started to lose fat and started to notice myself getting lean (yes, even at almost 40 years old!)

Kinobody Workout
To add muscle I worked out 3 times a week following the Warrior Shredding Program.
It’s a simple program that incorporates major muscle groups mainly focusing on the upper body to create a proportionate look that makes you stand out.
In other words, you focus on the back, chest, shoulders, and arms. You also workout legs but it’s not the main focus of this program.
Through this program is how I learned about Reverse Pyramid Training.
You know how growing up you always started with light weight on your first set and slowly added more weight as you moved from set to set?
Well, this program teaches you to do the opposite. Yup, you start very heavy first after a warm up.
The reason this is emphasized in the program is because in order to get stronger you have to lift heavy and you have the most strength at the first set, not the last.
When you get stronger and lift heavier your muscles have no choice but to grow to keep up with the demands.
Now that I’m done with the Warrior Shredding Program, I’m moving on to the Greek God Program which adds more muscle to your body.
Kinobody Diet
As far as the diet goes with Kinobody, I pretty much eat anything I want as long as I stay within my calories and hit my macros.
That’s not to say I can’t go over my calories because somedays it happens.
As long as you have more days where you stay within your numbers than not, you’ll be ok.
The diet part is something I wish I would’ve learned decades ago. This part alone will get you 80% of the results you’re after.
When I understood how tracking calories worked the results just came easier than I thought.
Every time I eat, I just log it into MyPlate (it’s a FREE app) and it lets me know how many calories I consumed and what percentage of macronutrients that food contains.
I also alternate between drink black coffee and Pique Tea during my fasting window.
This way I know how much room I have to play with for the rest of the day.
Does Kinobody Work?
If at almost 40 years of age I’m able to look lean and muscular, I can honestly say Greg’s programs are legit.
Again, Kinobody follows a philosophy that’s not typical in the weight training and bodybuilding world.
You don’t eat 3 times a day with snacks in between.
Breakfast is not considered the most important meal of the day.
You lift heavy first, then go down in weight.
You’re not overtraining by being in the gym 5 – 6 times a week.
Yet, the Kinobody results speak for themselves as you can see from my pictures.
As long as you stick to the program you choose and follow it as instructed, I’m very confident you can achieve a body that makes people look twice in disbelief.
