Whether you compete or just work out from a garage gym like I do, we all want to know our max bench press potential.

So I had a one rep max bench calculator built that takes all the guesswork out of calculating numbers in my head.

And I’m sharing it for free so you can estimate your one rep max too.

How The Bench Press Max Calculator Works

Using the one rep max estimator is easy.

Enter the current weight you’re lifting on the barbell bench press in the first rectangle.

Then the number reps in the second rectangle and hit calculate!

The One Rep Max Calculator Formula

My bench press max calculator uses the Epley formula.

Here’s the equation if you want to do this manually: 1RM = (Weight × Repetitions / 30.48) + Weight

That’s too much math for me and that’s why I decided to have a one rep max calculator built instead.

Of course, this is just an estimator and your one rep max may vary on different factors, including your strength and form.
