The Prosource Fit adjustable weight bench is an affordable FID bench for home gym owners.
Measuring less than 50″ in total length (including legs), the Prosource Fit bench is great for small spaces.
To make it even more compact, if folds in half when not in use.
This review will show you everything there is to know about this weight bench.
Unboxing
Table of Contents
The Prosource Fit weight bench comes in a small box since the bench is foldable.
It’s also a light bench, weighing in at less than 30 lbs.
Once out of the box, the bench comes neatly wrapped in plastic with some light padding material.
Putting the bench together was straight forward.
Insert four foam pads into the ends of two metal rods.
Then attach a leg to each end of the bench with the supplied hardware and you’re done.
After the foam pads and the legs are attached to the bench, this is what it looks like folded.
The bench also comes with two pins that will keep the bench locked in the open position.
One pin goes right below the back rest and the seat.
This prevents the weight bench from folding in half.
The other pin goes right below the knee foam pads.
This keeps the bottom leg of the bench in a locked position.
Here is the finished product with all its pieces in place.
From unboxing to finished, it took about 15 minutes to put together.
Not bad at all!

Adjustable Bench
The Prosource Fit weight bench has 8 levels of adjustment.
Right below the back rest, there’s a lever arm that lets you change angles.
It has a flat level, five incline levels, and two decline levels.
The picture above shows the lowest level of decline.
The lever arm is completely off the notches of the front leg and laying flat.
This is a great option for doing abdominal work or just using it for decline bench press.
This pic shows the incline bench at about 30 degrees to hit the upper chest.
In this pic you see the bench at the highest level of incline.
You get a total of 5 levels of incline with the Prosource Fit bench.
Folding Design
The Prosource Fit bench folds right in half saving you a lot of space.
From the side, you can see where the bench folds right in between the seat and back rest.
The legs are sandwiched in between both pads.
