ProsourceFit Pull Up Bar Review

The ProsourceFit pull up bar is perfect for anyone that wants to bang out a workout with limited space.

It fits most regular sized doorways and its folding ability makes it easy to put away with little intrusion.

Made of solid steel, it has a weight capacity of up to 440 lbs.

Unboxing

After opening the box, I was expecting to reach in my toolbox for assembly.

But I didn’t have to…

The foldable pull up bar is ready to use straight out of the box which is convenient.

Folding Pull-Up Bar Mechanism

The ProsourceFit pull up bar uses a spring loaded mechanism to fold and unfold the legs.

The legs lock when a small rod fits into a groove.

To unlock the legs, simply push down on them and move them in a circular motion.

The legs can move 360 degrees and lock in place when the rod slips into the groove again.

Two Pull Up Bars In One

The foldable pull-up bar is actually two bars in one.

The top bar is padded with foam and has a very secure grip.

The bottom bar is just plain steel.

Easy to Store

When the legs are folded, the pull up bar only takes up 2″ of space when you look at it from the side.

This makes it easy to store it under your bed or behind a door.

You can even use of the legs as a hanger to store away in a closet.

Or just like when I’m done using my Rogue individual pull up bar, I can just leave it hanging on the door frame until the next time I use it again.

Adjustable Door Frame Pads

The door frame pads on this pull up bar are different than others I’ve seen.

For one, they’re clear so they won’t leave any marks on your door frame.

And they are also adjustable.

The bottom pads slide from side to side so you can use it in many doorways.

It fits doorways between 27 inches and 36.5 inches.

Anchor Point for Accessories

Besides the obvious pull ups and chins up, you can also use the pull up bar as an anchor point.

Do you like using gymnastic rings? Strap them to the bar and get to work.

Have a TRX-like suspension trainer? Attach it to the bar.

Resistance bands? They can be used on there too.

Just make sure you pull in the direction opposite of the clear door frame pads so the bar stays in place.

Affordable

Although pull up bars come at different prices, the ProsourceFit bar is very affordable.

At the time of publishing this post, it costs $33.99.

I’ve tested doorway pull up bars that cost over $100, so this one is a bargain.
