QMount Massage Gun Holder Review

The QMount massage gun holder is one I’ve been wanting to try because of it’s height adjustable holder.

This lets me massage different body parts by moving the massager up and down without having to remove it from the device.

And I like that it works with 99% of massage guns so almost anyone with a massager can get to those hard to reach places and do it hands-free.

Rest and recovery day is about to get more enjoyable.

Unboxing

The QMount comes fully assembled and surrounded in shipping paper.

No damages to report on arrival.

Here’s the mount and the hardware that comes with the power rack version.

It’s the QMount, two knobs, two bolts, and a rubber spacer (helps to grip massage guns with smaller handle diameters).

Now all I need to do is attach the rail to my weight rack and add my massage gun to the mount.

What’s The QMount?

The QMount is a hands-free massage gun mount that can be used on a weight rack or installed on a wall.

It works with 99% of massage guns and can be easily adjusted up and down on a rail without having to remove the massager.

This gives me the ability to massage those hard to reach places without assistance.

Setting Up The QMount

Setting up the QMount is straight forward.

I got the rack mount so there’s no wall studs to find and nothing to drill.

All I do is insert the bolts through the top and bottom holes on the rail.

I’ve read some online reviews that say it doesn’t work for every rack but I had no issues with my PRx weight rack.

It has 1″ holes and they’re are 2″ apart on center and the rail fits it without any issues.

Once I get the bolts to go through the upright, all I do is tighten the knobs all way to the right so there’s no wiggle.

The knob is big enough that it covers the 1″ holes without needing a washer.

Here’s what the rail looks like from the side once I got both knobs secured.

Now all I have to do is slide the mount into the rail tracks and I’m ready.

With the rail secured, all I do now is slide the mount into the rail from the top and clamp it down so it stays in place.

I clamp it down with the lever that’s on the left side of the mount.

When it’s in the up position, I can adjust the QMount up and down.

Once I figure out a height that works for me, I clamp it down so it stays in place.

Fits Most Massage Guns

The holder hinges open and connects to a knob that has a long shaft.

This long shaft is adjustable so it can accommodate massage guns with thin and thick handles.

Once my massage gun is in place, I tighten the knob all the way so that the massager is not moving around when it’s vibrating.

Since I’m the only one that’s going to be using the mount, I only have to mount it once if I’m working on my upper body.

If I want to get my legs, I do have to move it lower unless I get additional rails to eliminate having to remount it.

Massage Hard To Reach Places

With the massage gun mounted, now I don’t have to dislocate my shoulders to get to those hard to reach areas.

All I do now is move my body around the massage gun for areas like my upper and middle back.

Hands-Free Massage

Because I’m hands-free, now I can put some of my body weight into the massage to relax tighter areas.

My chest usually gets real tight so when I’m able to lean into the massage gun, I can control how deep of a massage I want while my arms are relaxed.

Best Features Of The QMount Massage Gun Holder

Rail

The 12″ rail is what makes it easy for me to adjust the massage gun up and down so I can get most of my back.

If you’re real tall, you might have to get an additional rail to get that extra foot of adjustability.

With the flip of a lever I’m able to move the mount up and down the rail.

This makes it easy so I don’t have to remove the massage gun from the holder any time I want to adjust heights.

Locks

The cam lever on the side works really well and I’ve never had problems with the mount sliding down.

And the knob on the front of the mount keeps the massage gun securely in place so it’s not moving around while I use it.

Both locks do their job well.

I’ve always liked massage gun holders because of the hands-free approach.

And I like that I can slide the QMount up and down without having to remove the massage gun.

I’ll most like get additional rails so I can slide the massage gun all the way down to get my hamstrings and thighs.
