One unique thing I like about the Revolution 2.0 is that I can workout opposing forearm muscles at the same time.

This is different than other forearm trainers like a wrist roller that works one muscle group at a time.

Progressive Variable Resistance

The knob on one of the handles controls the amount of resistance I can apply to both handles.

I can set it to real easy to extremely hard so that gives this device a lot of versatility because it can be used by many people.

One thing I wish it had, is a way to quantify the amount of resistance I’m using when I turn the knob to different positions.

Knurling

The handles have a gridlock design to them with passive knurling.

I feel the knurling is enough to get a good grip on the handles even at the hardest level of resistance.

And the grooves created by the gridlock design also help with the grip so my hands don’t slip while I’m turning the handles.

Grip Strengthening Exercises

Flexion & Extension

To train my forearm flexors and extensors, I can do it two different ways: (1) with straight arms and (2) bent arms.

Training with straight arms gives me a better stretch and involvement of the forearm muscles that cross both the wrist and elbow joint.

When I train with elbows bent, it takes some tension off the muscles that cross both joints but it gives me better isolation of the smaller wrist muscles.

I do both bent and straight arm exercises to get full development and strength of the forearm muscles.

Radial & Ulnar Deviation

For radial and ulnar deviation, I grab one handle on the Revolution 2.0 to stabilize while the other arm is working.

To do this, I place the end of the handle in the middle of my palm and move my wrist up and down in a hammer like motion against resistance.

Then I switch to the other hand.

Pronation & Supination

For pronation and supination, I grab one handle to stabilize with the top hand while the bottom hand does the work.

The movement looks like when I’m turning a key.
