Therapain Plus is a topical pain ointment that works on aches and sprains.
At my age (46), I often flare up areas in areas like the inside of my elbow and get muscle soreness after workouts.
This topical ointment has a few ingredients that are aimed at getting deep to the problem areas so I’m stoked to give it a shot.
Let’s check it out!

Table of Contents
The roll-on bottle comes with a plastic seal covering the cap and body of the bottle.
Once I took that off, it works just like any other roll-on liquid.
Ingredients
Active Ingredients
The main ingredient on Therapain Plus is L-menthol which is a natural pain reliever.
I use it to relieve pain from muscle pain, arthritis, strains, sprains, bruises, cramps, and bursitis.
Other Ingredients
Two other ingredients in this product are what set it apart from other topical ointments.
Methyl Sulfonyl Methane (MSM) and Glucosamine Sulfate.
MSM has an anti-inflammatory effect and Glucosamine adds to the analgesic effect and helps with to heal tendons, ligaments, and cartilage in the body.
Servings Per Bottle
This is hard to figure out with a liquid since it really depends on how much I apply when I’m using it.
Sometimes I use it on multiple areas too.
One bottle will usually last me about a month.
What Is Therapain Plus?
Therapain Plus is a topical analgesic that provides temporary relief for arthritis, neck pain, back pain, joint stiffness, and muscle soreness.
One thing I do like about the roll-on application is that it doesn’t feel greasy or sticky like other topical ointments.
Top Benefits Of Therapain Plus
Pain Relief
The natural ingredients in Therapain Plus help to temporarily relieve pain.
I roll it on my sore muscles and prefer it over popping pills that can have side effects and hurt my liver in the long run.
Does Therapain Plus Work?
Yes, it does work on sore muscles and minor aches and pains.
I’ve had a few injuries while working out in my garage gym and it has helped to relieve pain while the injuries heal.
Some are chronic injuries like my elbow tendinitis and others are minor sprains that can be nagging but using the ointment helps me to continue training.

- Muscle soreness: Feels good on sore muscles
- Easy application: Roll on bottle makes it easy to apply and not make a mess

Therapain Plus Alternatives
Biofreeze
I’ve used Biofreeze for a while and it helps but it does have a high concentration of menthol so it can cause a burning sensation in people with sensitive skin.
If you go with this one, make sure you wash your hands after use so you don’t accidentally touch your eyes.
Trust me it burns.
Voltaren
Voltaren is a joint pain topical ointment so it’s not meant to bring down muscle soreness.
Per Voltaren’s label, it only works specifically to relieve pain on hands, wrists, elbows, feet, ankles, and knees.
Therapain Plus Price
A roll-on bottle of Therapain currently sells for $24.95 which is similar to alternative options.
I haven’t seen any discount codes anywhere but I think the price is fair.
My Experience Using Therapain Plus
I like how easy it is to apply this over my areas of pain and soreness and it does help to bring relief.
Does it cure anything permanently? No, but it works for minor aches and injuries.
I’ve used sprays, gels and creams, but my favorite way to apply this is through the roll-on.
This way I don’t have to get anything on my hands and nothing is wasted either so the bottle lasts longer.
Is Therapain Plus Worth It?
If you prefer natural pain relief solutions, it is definitely worth it.
It’s easy to apply on the areas that hurt and gets the job done without any side effects.
With multiple ingredients that have been proven to aid in pain relief (Menthol, MSM, Glucosamine), this is a good pain relief and muscle rub.
