On the back, there’s a really strong magnet and a strap off to the side.

The magnet is so strong that it requires the use of the strap to pull it off my rack.

One you thing you don’t want to do, is pull the magnet off from the hooks or you may break them.

What Are Band Nets?

what are band nets?

Band Nets are magnetic hooks for squat racks (from the makers of the Squat Harness) with a strong 3″ x 2″ magnetic base.

Each arm is 2″ long and has a hooked end where I can hang and store resistance bands and other small objects anywhere on my uprights.

The magnetic block has a strap on the right side so I can pull the magnet off my rack without having to push on the arms.

It’s important to ALWAYS use the strap to remove the block because the arms are not meant to take on a great amount of pressure.

Top Benefits Of Band Nets

Storage & Organization

Band nets are a perfect rack attachment for resistance bands storage.

I can hang an entire set of resistance bands from the hooks.

It works for loop bands and bands with carabiners since they’re both lightweight.

Aside from bands, I also use them hang small accessory items that are not heavy.

Anything with a strap, carabiner, or any time of hole is fair game to hang from here as long as it’s not heavy.

I hang all types of accessories like my Angles 90 grips…

Triceps ropes, jump ropes, weight lifting straps, and barbell collars are some other lightweight things I hang from them.

Magnetic

Because these are magnetic, I can easily move them around if I want to re-organize my uprights.

There’s no need to unscrew anything off my walls or drill new holes when I want to move things around.

Best Features of Band Nets

Strong Magnet

The magnet is surprisingly very strong on these hooks and that’s the reason why they have a strap on them.

To pull the magnet off my weight rack, I pull on the strap so it comes off from one side.

I can also push down on the arms but they’re not meant to take on a lot of weight so that’s not recommended.

Long Arms

The arms are 2″ long which doesn’t seem like much but I can hang a whole set of bands on there.

And even stack other small items on them at the same time.

I use Surplus Strength Mag Pins to add attachments to my weight rack but I can also hang things from them.

They go through the holes on my rack and stick out about two inches from the other side.

I can stack resistance bands on top of each other from the non-magnetic end…

But if I’m using the pins, I have to find another place to hang the bands from.

S-Hooks

S-Hooks make it easy to hang resistance bands and small items with straps or holes from my weight rack.

I insert the top hook into the upright holes and hang whatever I want from the bottom hook.

Only downside is that I’m limited to the number of bands I can hang depending on the size of the hook unless I have a bunch of hooks hanging on my uprights.

Magnetic Garage Hooks

Each one has a pair of 2″ long arms that I can attach anywhere on my uprights.
