Unboxing Plate Snacks

The Plate Snacks decals arrived in a big white envelope.
The decals didn’t come with any instructions, but it’s really easy to install.
You just peel the backing off the decals and attach them to the weight plate.
Out of the envelope, the vinyl decals look better than what I imagined.
Colors are nice and bright and the design is high quality.
The stickers you see above are iron plates decals.
The bumper plate decals are smaller because they go on the inner circle of the bumpers.
Applying Plate Snacks Weight Plates
In the video above you’ll see how simple the application of the decal is.
The key is to align the center hole of the weight plate to the center hole of the decal.
After you align it, just press from the center out to remove any air bubbles.
You’re done!
Final Product
After the application, the weight plates look bad ass.
Just look at that delicious barbell and tell me you don’t like it.
The sprinkle donut weight plate decal also looks great.
I have my weight plates hanging on the wall so the Plate Snacks decals stand out.
The decals are the first thing my friends notice whenever they step foot in the garage.
Plate Snacks Options
You already saw the donut and pizza weight plates I have but there’s plenty of options.
Plate Snacks has several decals to choose from.
Sushi roll, chocolate chip cookie, cinnamon roll, waffle, pancake, and chocolate cookie are also available.

Weight Plate Compatibility
As of now, the decals are only compatible with Olympic sized (2″ center hole) iron and bumper plates.
Iron Plates
Most 45 lbs plates are made the same diameter, but some of the smaller plates may vary by manufacturer.
Plate Snacks has a size guide on their website to make sure the sticker will not be too big or too small for your set of plates.
All their stickers have a 2.25″ center hole cut out of the center.
This gives enough gap to fit any size Olympic plate.
They’ve also started making decals for Weight It Out plates that have handles on them.
Weight It Out Thin Weight Plates
Plate Snacks has now teamed up with Weight It Out which makes the thinnest cast iron weight plates.
Weight It Out plates have handles on them so the decals have an extra set of holes to match the plates.
A little bit of extra work but not hard as you see in the video above.
Bumper Plates
For bumper plates, the vinyl decals will only fit on smooth surface bumper plates in the middle of the plate.
These are meant to stick on bumper plates that have an 8″ diameter inner circle and the center hub of 2.75″.
They will not work on crumb or hi-temp style plates.These will only stick to smooth rubber bumper plates such as but not limited to:

- CAP Black Bumpers (8″ center)
- Torque Fitness
Fringe Sport Bumper Plates
The concept of food on weight plates is not new, Plate Snacks just made it affordable.
This is something that Fringe Sport first came up with for bumper plates.
They sell donut and pizza bumper plates.
But Fringe Sport does not use decals, the design is part of the bumpers.
Really cool looking bumpers but they have a steep price.

Depending on how your plates rub against the stickers, you may notice some marking, but a magic eraser will help remove the marks.
These will withstand above average abuse, but like any product, the stickers will begin to wear as friction and other elements take hold of your plates.
They are durable but not invincible, so expect some normal wear over time.
