The PRx wall mounted landmine attachment is not your ordinary landmine attachment.
Yes, it pivots vertically and horizontally like other landmines but…
It also works as a vertical barbell holder.
So when I’m done doing my landmine workouts, I can lock the landmine and use it as barbell storage.
I’m all about equipment versatility and this is much better than just a piece of metal taking up more wall space.
Let’s check it out!
Unboxing
Inside the box I got 3 pieces of metal with a nice black powder coat finish.
And a plastic bag with all the hardware.
Once I got everything out of the box, here’s what it looks like.
At the top you see the landmine base that goes flat against the wall.
Right below that you see the barbell sleeve and to the right of that is the middle connector.
Everything else is hardware.
Not much to it so it should be an easy installation.
Specs
- Material: 7-gauge steel
- Sleeve length: 10″
- Compatibility: Olympic sized barbells
- Degrees of rotation: 180 degrees horizontal, 90 degrees vertical
Materials for Installation
Here’s a list of the materials I used for the installation:
- Stud finder: Drill into a wall stud since this landmine will be supporting weight (works on concrete walls too)
- Level: I used a level to make sure I was installing it straight up and down
- Power drill and drill bits: You need to pre-drill a pilot hole using a 3/16″ drill bit
- Wrench and socket set: I used a 1/2″ socket to tighten the bolts that go on the wall studs
- 15/16″ socket: Big socket for bolts that go through landmine pivot points
Installing The PRx Wall Mounted Landmine
Place the landmine base against the wall and flush to the floor
Mark the wall through the small 5/16″ holes in the landmine base
Drill pilot holes 2″ deep using a 3/16″ drill bit on the stud at the marks made previously
Fasten the landmine base to the stud using lag screws and washers.
If you have a concrete wall, use Tapcon screws.
Attach the landmine sleeve to the middle connector with one of the hex bolts and nut.
Here’s where I used the 15/16″ socket but if you don’t have one, an adjustable wrench should work.
Here’s what it looks like before I connect this piece to the landmine base on the wall.
Attach the middle connector to the landmine base with the other hex bolt and nut.
Make sure the landmine sleeve has the metal tab facing up because a locking pin will go through it so it needs to connect with the base.
To lock it in place I just match the holes on the base to the hole on the landmine tab and insert the bent pin through them.
And that’s it!
Obviously, this is not a portable landmine attachment like the Barbell Bomb…
So I made sure I picked a spot where I had plenty of space to move in all directions.
Now it’s ready to be abused with landmine exercises and when I’m done I can store my barbell on their as well.
The ability to store barbells is what makes this landmine attachment different than others.
Even the PRx rack mounted landmine attachment can’t do that.
Degrees of Movement
The PRx wall mounted landmine pivots up to 90 degrees vertically and 180 degrees horizontally.
So I have plenty of range of motion to do just about any landmine exercise I can think of.
Vertical Barbell Holder / Storage
A huge pro about having the PRx landmine mounted on the wall, is that it doubles as a vertical barbell holder.
The geniuses at PRx added a few holes to the base and one on the landmine sleeve and connected them with a locking pin.
What you get is an additional use out of a regular landmine attachment.
In typical PRx fashion, home gym organization and wall utilization is at the top of their list with many of their pieces of equipment.
Just insert the barbell into the landmine sleeve and lock it in place with the bent pin.
Landmine Exercises
As far as landmine exercises go, there’s hundreds I can do for all body parts.
I’ll show you a few here just to give you an idea but you can easily go on YouTube and find tons of videos.
Landmine hack squats hit the quads real good and are a good alternative if you don’t have the space for a big hack squat machine.
I like the kneeling shoulder press because not only is it tough on the shoulder that’s isolated but my core is also firing.
Here I’m swinging the barbell from side to side like a standing Russian twist to workout my core.

PRx Performance Wall Mounted Landmine Review
I’ve tested many landmine attachments including rack mounted and post landmines.
And they all work great since I have the freedom to do a ton of exercises.
But this one gives me a little bit more bang for my buck since I can use it to workout and store my barbell.
It’s easy to install, built with thick steel to withstand landmine workouts, and barbell storage.
