The Exponent Edge Landmine Jack stand takes the unnecessary work out of landmine workouts.
I’m talking about having to lift the barbell to unload and reload it.
That’s just wasted energy I could save for my sets.
Built out of solid steel with a 500 lbs, the landmine jack stand is a beast.
Let’s check it out!

The Exponent Edge landmine jack is all metal with no moving pieces so it’s solid.
Right out of the box this thing looks indestructible (Jay from Exponent Edge says it can hold up a car but of course don’t try it 😝).
At the top of the landmine jack there are two pieces of UHMW plastic screwed to the metal.
The UHWM plastic pieces are there to protect my barbell from metal to metal contact.
You can see some of the plastic’s paint has been scraped off from the barbell’s knurling but the plastic is intact.
Here’s a side view of the landmine jack stand.
And from the rear you can see it’s all hollow.
Nothing fancy, just a solid piece of metal to make landmine exercises more convenient.
Here’s the bottom showing some scratches to the paint.

Landmine Jack Benefits
The Landmine Jack was made to take the pain out of loading and unloading heavy plates on a barbell.
Specifically built for use when using a landmine attachment.
I prop the Landmine Jack under the bar and slide my weight plates in without having to lift the barbell.
Landmine Exercises
There’s no shortage of landmine exercises but I mainly use the landmine jack stand for T-bar rows with the set up you see above.
But I can also use this for RDLs, belt squats, Meadow rows, and many other landmine exercises.
Here’s a step-by-step of how I set this up…
First thing I do is insert my Barbell Bomb landmine attachment to my powerlifting barbell.
Then I set it against the wall for added support.
Then I rest the barbell on the landmine jack stand.
Now I add my Ironmaster Ultimate Row Handle to the barbell.
This handle gives me the option to change grips (neutral, pronated, supinated) and grip widths.
Next I stack some bumper plates together to create a platform and give me some height.
Recently, I’ve been using the Exponent Edge Flex Wedge so I don’t have to stack a bunch of plates on top of each other.
Then it’s just a matter of adding weight to the barbell and my T-bar row set up is complete.
And here I am in action.
When I’m done with my set, I set the barbell on the landmine jack and I can load/unload plates easily.
In case you need more landmine exercises ideas, I’ve attached a video above with 40 of them.
Just pick the ones that best fit your goals.
Exponent Edge Landmine Jack Alternatives
The Barbell Jack
When I tell people about the landmine jack, some say “Can’t you just use a barbell jack?”
And yes you can but you’re missing the point.
With a barbell jack you’re adding extra steps to the whole loading and unloading process, plus you can’t set the bar on it after a set.
This is the whole point of the landmine jack.
I lift the weight off the jack and set it down on the jack without having to lift the bar to load/unload it.
The Back Bar Attachment
The Back Bar attachment is cable attachment, landmine row handle, and barbell jack so it has multiple functions.
With a weight capacity of 800 lbs, this is a solid option for a landmine jack.
The Back Jack
The Back Jack is an alternative to the Back Widow cable attachment but also works as a solid landmine jack.
With multiple functions and built out of thick, solid steel, this can hold more weight than you can lift.
Pros & Cons
What I Like
- Weight capacity: It can hold 500+ lbs without a problem
- Loading/Unloading: Makes loading and unloading a barbell a breeze
- Build: Made out of solid steel all around
- UHMW plastic: Line with protective plastic to prevent barbell damage
- Stable: Does not move even with heavy load
What I Don’t Like
I can’t find something that I can be picky about. It’s a strong piece of metal that keeps my barbell up. I have nothing to bitch about.

Exponent Edge Landmine Jack Review
I like the energy saving benefit of using the landmine jack.
It’s like the T-bar row machine with a built-in jack at the commercial gym.
This brings that same convenience to my garage gym.
So I can save my energy for my workout rather than lifting the barbell every time I load/unload it.
