The Feier workout slide board is a “smart” exercise board that records activity in real time.
It folds so it’s easy to store and I can carry it anywhere.
And it comes with an app loaded with free workouts and games to keep me entertained while I sweat.
This makes cardio much more fun than the boring stationary bike or treadmill.

Unboxing

The slide board came well protected with a thick foam pad around it.
It’s rolled up inside the box so it doesn’t take up a lot of space.
I unfolded it and here’s what it looks like.
The top surface is slick and available in grey or white.
There’s three sizes available, I got the mid size that’s just shy of 6 feet long.
I folded it to look at the bottom and it’s made of a non-slip rubber material.
So far it hasn’t slipped at all on the two surfaces I’ve tried it on: hardwood and horse stall mats.
It comes with a pair of slip on boots that make it easy to glide over the slide board.
The boots have an elastic band that wraps around my shoe so they don’t move when I’m exercising.

Features
Sliding Surface
Feier’s sliding surface feels very smooth when I glide on it.
No bumps or jerky movements when I slide from one side to the other.
At each end of the slide board there are shock absorbing bumpers.
They’re soft so every time I push off or bump one of them, there’s no pain or discomfort.
Since this is a smart slide board, it also comes with an LED display that tracks my workouts.
The display counts my reps, workout time, and calories burned.
Each side also has an LED light strip that lights up when I hit the bumper.
Not sure if there’s any function to it besides just visual.
Boots
The boots go on top of my shoes just like socks.
Once I get my boots on and step on the slide board, it feels very slippery which is great because it simulates real life ice skating.
Charging
One thing I feel Feier can improve on is their charging cord because it’s too short.
Right here I have it connected from my computer to the slide board.
The slide board doesn’t need to be charged to be used unless you wanna keep track of your metrics or play games.
Slide Board Exercises
I’ll show you a few exercises I can do on the slide board.
The most obvious is sliding side to side to simulate ice skating which is fun and gets me breathing.
But there’s other exercises to target more specific muscle groups.
This is a side lunge where I keep leg stationary against a bumper and the other slides out to the side.
Here I’m doing a pike so I’m sliding my feet back and forth making my abdominals work when I slide my feet towards my upper body.
And yes, I can also do a few upper body exercises.
Here I’m doing archer push ups where I slide one arm to the side as the other one is going straight down.
This is a reverse lunge.
And here I’m doing leg curls by sliding my heels towards my butt.
This is one more of a dynamic plank where I’m maintaining a hollow position while walking back and forth with my arms.
Aside from slide board exercises I can do on my own, I can follow on-demand workouts or games on the app.
Feier Slide Board vs Brrrn Slide Board
You’ve probably heard of another popular slide board called Brrrn so I created a table comparing both boards.
Both slide boards give you the same type of workout except Brrrn’s doesn’t fold for storage and it’s not “smart”.
Feier made their slide board portable, it records my activity so I can track improvement, and added games to make it fun.
I like that Feier made theirs significantly more accessible to everyone by making it affordable.
The Brrrn slide board is adjustable from 6 feet to 5 feet by sliding one end towards the middle.
It is made out of a solid polymer deck with wooden ends and a handle in the middle to carry it.
Since it is flat (2.5″ thick), it can be stored under beds but it is not foldable.
The Feier workout slide board comes in three sizes and two colors to choose from.
I went with the medium size and I feel that’s a good size for me.
