The Titan adjustable dumbbell stand and weight plate tree has come in very handy in my garage gym.
I’ve owned this for quite a while and it looks just like when I got it 7 years ago.
One thing I love about this stand is that it’s compatible with many adjustable dumbbells I’ve reviewed over the years.
Let’s check it out!

What Is the Titan Adjustable Dumbbell Stand?
The Titan dumbbell stand is a combination of an adjustable dumbbell stand and weight plate tree.
When I first started looking for a dumbbell stand, this one stood out because it has 4 weight horns so I can throw weight plates on it.
With a weight capacity of 260 lbs, this can hold a set of heavy adjustable dumbbells and then some.
Since I started my garage gym, I’ve always looked for equipment that helps me get the most out of my space so this is what I went with and I’m glad I did.
Top Benefits Of The Titan Adjustable Dumbbell Stand
Compatibility
When I first bought the dumbbell stand, I had a set of Powerblock EXP dumbbells and they fit.
As I started reviewing adjustable dumbbells, I noticed many of them fit on the stand which is great since there are so many adjustables in the market.
Keep reading so you can see a list of the dumbbells that fit on the stand and some that don’t.
Storage
The dumbbell stand and weight plate tree makes it easy to keep weight off my garage gym floor.
If you’re like me, you probably have more equipment than you need…
And even with weight plates stored on my wall, I still need more space so the weight plate tree comes in handy.
I can store my entire 230+ lbs XMaster chrome weight plates set and Micro Gainz fractional weight plates right below a set of 160 lbs dumbbells.
Best Features Of The Titan Adjustable Dumbbell Stand
Weight Plate Tree
The dumbbell stand has four 6.5″ weight horns (2 on each side) giving me plenty of weight plate storage room.
I like that Titan made each weight horn 25mm in diameter so I can use it with both standard sized weight plates and Olympic weight plates.
I could throw bumper plates on here but I prefer to keep those on my walls.
Instead, I store my thin weight plates here so I can fit more on the weight horns.
Angled Front
The front of the dumbbell stand is angled down like the full size dumbbell racks at commercial gyms.
This makes it easier for me to unrack and re-rack dumbbells without having to completely bend my lower back over the stand.
Although this is somewhat ergonomic, it’s not as good as the adjustable dumbbell stands that let me to walk in between both dumbbells.
So for this stand I put one foot in the middle to reduce the load on my lower back.
I’d love to see Titan come out with a version that’s open in the middle (see example below).
Above I’m showing you the Nuobell walk-in stand where I can step inside and lift the dumbbells by my side.
This helps to protect my spine from bending forward with heavy weight.
Companies like Snode, Nuobell, Powerblock, and Bowflex have this type of stand but some of them are specific to their dumbbells.

Outer Lips
The Titan adjustable dumbbell stand has a lip in the front but also on the sides.
This is a safety feature to prevent dumbbells from sliding off the sides and it’s good for the most part…
The only exception to this outer lip is when it comes to selecting the heaviest weight on Powerblock dumbbells.
Since Powerblocks adjust from the sides, this outer lip interferes with the last weight selection.
It’s minor inconvenience that I’ll deal with since I do like having the weight plate tree with this stand.
This is why several of Powerblock’s heavy duty stands like Home Rack Stand above doesn’t have side lips.
Front Leg
Previous versions of the Titan adjustable dumbbell stand (this is V3) had a problem with tipping forward when loaded with a lot of weight.
This is because of the forward tilt of the trays.
So now even if I put really heavy dumbbells on it, the front foot prevents it from tipping forward.
Adjustable Dumbbell Compatibility
I really like that the dumbbell stand is compatible with many of the adjustable dumbbells I’ve reviewed.
Here’s a list of some of the dumbbells the stand is compatible with and some that are not.

Titan Adjustable Dumbbell Stand Pros & Cons
Pros
- Compatibility: Works with many adjustable dumbbells
- Weight plate tree: I can use it to store weight plates to help with home gym organization
- Stable: The front foot gives it stability so it doesn’t tip forward
- Outer lips: Prevent dumbbells from slipping off the sides
- Weight capacity: High capacity so I can store heavy dumbbells and weight plates
- Durable: I’ve had this stand since I started my garage gym about 7 years ago and it’s not rusty or showing signs of damage
Cons
- Walk-in space: Stepping into the middle gap helps but it’d be better if the stand had a space in the middle to walk into
- Lacks leveling feet: I’d like to see Titan add leveling feet to the bottom of the stand, especially for people with garage gyms where the floor is sloped
Titan Adjustable Dumbbell Stand Price
The price for the Titans stand is $124.99 which I think it’s a very good price.
Other adjustable dumbbell stands in the same price point don’t have a weight plate tree so that extra storage is a big plus.
Titan Fitness Discount Code
There are no specific Titan discount codes for this stand but there’s a few ways to save on Titan equipment.
Titan has monthly discounts and sales but they vary.
They also have a scratch and dent section where they have equipment with minor visual flaws but still function properly.
Titan Adjustable Dumbbell Stand Alternatives
Rep Dumbbell Storage Cart
The Rep Fitness dumbbell storage cart is an overbuilt dumbbell stand with extra storage that sells for $349.
Aside from the top shelf for dumbbells, it has a lower shelf, and a peg board with hooks on both sides.
I like that they added a gap in the middle so you can insert one leg to reduce the load on the lower back.
Caster wheels also make this easy to move around when it’s fully loaded.
Powerblock Home Rack Stand
I showed you the Powerblock Home Rack Stand before and it works well for Powerblock dumbbells.
When comparing it to the Titan stand though, it doesn’t have any additional storage space.
Tray dimensions are 20″ L x 8″ W with a weight capacity of 200 lbs.
Powerblock sells this stand for $239 which is $100+ more than Titan’s.
Powerblock Powermax Stand
The Powerblock Powermax stand has the open design making it easy to step in between the dumbbells to protect my back.
Dimensions for the tray are 20.2″ L x 7.5″ W and they’re made for Powerblocks but will work with dumbbells that fit the tray.
This one has a weight capacity of 160 lbs and sells for $129.
Yes4All Adjustable Dumbbell Stand
The Yes4All adjustable dumbbell stand is similar to the Powermax stand but it has a wider tray for dumbbells with wide bases and is a bit cheaper.
Weight capacity on this one is 160 lbs and dimensions are 20 5/8″ L x 10″ W.
This one retails for $111.
My Experience Using The Titan Adjustable Dumbbell Stand
I love the Titan dumbbell stand cause I can store so much on it.
As far as durability goes, I’ve had it for 7 years and the only thing that’s fallen off is a plastic end cap but that doesn’t affect it at all.
It’s sturdy and helps me keep equipment off the floor so it’s a purchase I don’t regret at all.
Is The Adjustable Stand Worth It?
This dumbbell stand is absolutely worth it.
It’s worked with a bunch of adjustable dumbbells I’ve reviewed and on top of that, I can throw a full set of weight plates on the weight horns.
The combination of dumbbell stand and weight plate tree makes this perfect to save space and keep things organized in a home gym.
