UnbrokenShop Training Backpack Review

UnbrokenShop has designed a training backpack with a TON of room.

Whether you need it for a competition, hiking, traveling, or just the gym, I’ll show you everything about this backpack.

This thing has more zippers than a Michael Jackson jacket.

Let’s dig right in.

Training Backpack vs Regular Backpack

The first thing that catches your attention when you see UnbrokenShop’s training backpack is its size.

This thing is massive.

It dwarfs a regular backpack when you place them side by side.

And it’s built differently than a duffel bag.

Leather Handle

The top of the backpack has a leather handle.

With all the space and weight this bag can carry, a strong handle is a necessity.

Add Personalized Patches

The front of the training bag has a panel where you can add velcro patches to show your personality.

UnbrokenShop can customize these patches to say anything you want.

The bag also includes two of their own patches as well as an American flag patch.

Front Backpack Pouches

The front of the training bag has three pouches to store items.

The top one is small and the bottom two are the same size.

I’ll go over these what these pouches can be used for.

Glasses Pouch

Right behind the patches panel, there’s a small zipper pouch with two compartments.

One compartment is meant to keep glasses.

The soft cloth makes sure your glasses don’t get scratched.

The other half of the pouch is for small objects like your wallet and keys.

MOLLE System

Right below the glasses pouch, there’s two pouches with a MOLLE system on the outside.

Simply put, a MOLLE system is layered with rows and columns of webbing.

This gives you the option to attach items to the outside of the training backpack using carabiners or clips.

The inside of the MOLLE pouches can be used to store medium sized items.

Each one of these pouches is about the same size.

Thermal Side Pouch

One of the side compartments of the training backpack also has thermal capabilities.

From the outside, you see it has rows of velcro straps along with a MOLLE system.

The velcro can be used to attach items like wet hand grips and wrist wraps.

This way you can keep outside the backpack to ventilate and dry up.

When you open the side pouch, you’ll see the shiny thermal material.

Throw a cold water bottle or your drink of choice and keep it colder for a longer time.

Other Side Pouch

The other side pouch is not thermal.

This one also has a MOLLE system and gives you more room to store items.

Right along the side pouch, you also have a wet clothing bag.

This bag is perforated and clips to the side of the backpack with a carabiner.

After your workout, throw your shirt in there and let it ventilate.

Inside the Training Backpack

Just like outside of this backpack, the inside has a lot of room.

This thing almost feels like a locker.

You can store items like towels, weight vests, weight lifting belts, knee sleeves, jump ropes, etc.

The flap side of the inside of the backpack has two zipper compartments.

The top compartment is made of mesh and takes up most of the flap.

This can be used to store thin items such as socks, underwear, or anything that’s not very bulky.

The bottom compartment is a secret pouch.

Training Backpack With Shoe Compartment

At the bottom of the backpack, you have a shoe compartment.

This compartment goes into the training bag but it’s separated from the inside by a nylon cover.

The cover keeps your dirty shoes from coming in contact with the contents of the backpack.

So if your shoes are stinky or full of mud after a competition, nothing inside the bag will be affected.

Back of the Training Backpack

As if the front and side compartments weren’t enough, the back also has a big pouch.

This pouch lies right behind the shoulder straps.

Once you open the back pouch, you see two compartments.

One of them can be used to store and protect your laptop.

The other can be used for your computer charger or any other electronic accessories.

Small Waist Bag

UnbrokenShop also throws in a small waist bag inside the training backpack.

This is perfect to carry small items if you’re just going for a quick workout or your meet doesn’t require a lot of equipment.

This bag has a small front pocket and a larger pocket right above that.

The front pocket has a MOLLE system as well.

Conclusion

As you see in the video and pictures above, this competition backpack is loaded with storage compartments.

From the front, to the back, to the sides, you have room for anything you want to carry.

The MOLLE system on the front and sides also gives you more room to add on.

If you’re into competitions, cross training, karate, MMA, hiking, rucking, or any other sport, this is the only bag you need.

After your event, hang your sweaty clothing and accessories on the outside and away from what’s inside the bag.
