Storage Space

One shelf can store pairs of 5 lbs, 10 lbs, 15 lbs, and 20 lbs dumbbells at once.

Or pairs of 25 lbs, 30 lbs, and 35 lbs.

Four shelves can hold pairs of 5 lbs – 60 lbs PRx hex rubber dumbbells in 5 lbs increments.

Wall Mounting Space

Each shelf mounts to wood studs spaced between 8″ – 30″.

For vertical stacking, PRx recommends that you have 18″ of space from the top of one shelf to the top of the next.

That should give you enough space so that you can pick up and re-rack dumbbells without any issues.

Flat or Angled Dumbbell Wall Mount

I like how you have the option to keep the wall mounts flat or angled.

An angled wall mount is perfect for dumbbells.

If you want to store kettlebells, the flat configuration would work best.

High Weight Capacity

One concern with a wall mounted dumbbell storage is weight capacity.

PRx has tested this to have a weight capacity of up to 1000 lbs!

That means you can throw a whole lot of dumbbells and kettlebells on them before they collapse.

And of course, you want to make sure they’re mounted securely on your wall studs before you start putting weight on them.
