The PRx rack landmine attachment is neat because I set it up once and never have to do it again.
It also comes with a clip-like plastic retainer that holds the landmine sleeve vertically when I’m not using it.
PRx has perfected the upright storage of landmine sleeves like they did with their wall mounted landmine.
It’s a nice feature to have that I haven’t seen with landmines from other companies.
Let’s check this one out!
Features
Material
In typical PRx Performance fashion, the landmine is built out of thick metal.
7 gauge steel to be exact and it has a weight capacity of 405 lbs so this thing can hold a lot of weight.
It has a beautiful black powder coat with a 9″ long sleeve.
And works with any Olympic sized barbell.
Pivoting Range
The PRx Profile landmine has 180 degrees of horizontal range.
I can move it to the right 90 degrees.
And 90 degrees to the left giving me plenty of rotational freedom.
And 90 degrees vertically for presses and pulls.
Of course, I can also get a combination of horizontal and vertical movements at the same time.
Retainer
One cool feature about the PRx rack mounted landmine attachment is the retainer.
It’s a U-shaped piece of hard plastic where I can store the landmine sleeve vertically when I’m not using it.
The retainer is off to the right side of the landmine so it doesn’t get in the way when doing landmine exercises.
To store the landmine, I slide it to the right and up.
Then push it into the retainer until it clips in place.
Once it clicks in place it stays on there and is out of the way.
What I love about the retainer clip and rack mounted landmine is that I can fold my PRx rack and it doesn’t budge.
When I wanna use it again, I just unfold the weight rack and it’s ready to use.

Landmine Attachment for PRx Squat Rack
I’m sure you’ve seen other types of landmine attachments…
There’s the AbMat barbell bomb that doesn’t require anything but a barbell.
Post landmine attachments that go in the center holes of weight plates.
But a landmine attachment for a squat rack makes landmine workouts convenient and won’t move at all.
I set it up on the weight rack once and it’s ready to use anytime I need to use it (don’t have to set it up again).
Barbell Landmine Attachment Exercises
Just like with other rack mounted landmine attachments, I can do a variety of exercises with it.
Pushing and pulling for my upper body.
Rotational work for my core.
And even unilateral and bilateral leg exercises.
Pros & Cons
Pros
- Storage: Stays on plastic clip vertically when not in use so it’s out of the way
- Set up: Very easy to set up with a few bolts
- Versatility: The landmine adds a lot of exercises to my workout routine
- Stability: Since it’s attached to my weight rack I don’t have to worry about it moving around
- Permanent: I can leave that on my weight rack even when I fold it up against the wall
Cons
- Barbell storage: It can’t be used as a vertical barbell storage like the PRx wall mounted landmine

PRx Rack Landmine Attachment Review
I like that I only had to set up the PRx rack mounted landmine once and it’s ready for every workout.
The retainer clip keeps the landmine sleeve out of the way when I’m not using it which is a genius idea.
And since it’s off to the right it doesn’t get in the way of any exercises.
Being able to fold my rack up while having the landmine attached to it is a huge plus.
